Ohlone, Chabot are Coast Conference division champions; Coast sends 7 to postseason
Ohlone College and Chabot College have captured 2026 Coast Conference championships. Ohlone rolled to the Coast South Division title with a 16-4 record, edging out second-place West Valley College (13-7) by three games in the final standings.
The Renegades earned their eighth Coast championship over the past 11 seasons and first since 2023.
Monterey Peninsula was third in the Coast South at 11-9, followed by Hartnell (10-10), Gavilan (6-14), and Cabrillo (4-16).
Chabot cruised to its fourth consecutive Coast Conference North Division championship with a 17-3 mark, beating out runner up Skyline College at 14-6.
San Mateo finished third in the Coast North with an 11-9 record, followed by Cañada (9-11), De Anza (7-13), and San Francisco (0-20).
2026 NORTHERN CALIFORNIA REGIONAL PLAYOFFS | BRACKET
The Coast Conference will be well represented at the upcoming 3C2A Northern California Regional Playoffs as seven Coast squads have qualified for postseason play.
The opening-round of the playoffs feature three-team, double-elimination tournaments at the site of the top-eight regional seeds. As top seeds, Ohlone (No. 2), Chabot (No. 7), and Skyline (No. 8) will all host regionals set for May 1-3.
Also advancing to the playoffs are West Valley, San Mateo, Monterey Peninsula, and Hartnell.
Winners of the regionals advance to the Super Regional round May 7-9 followed by the Regional Finals May 15-17. The top two teams from each region will then advance to the 3C2A State Championships at Great Park in Irvine on May 23-25.
