The Rams head into the playoffs with a 22-5 overall record and were Coast Conference North Division champions at 7-1 under head coach Derek Lau.
CCSF is in search of its first-ever state championship and will look to return to the state tournament for the first time since 2017. The Rams were state championship runner up in 2011 and have reached the state tournament Final Four in 2010, 2011, 2016, and 2017.
No. 10 Lemoore enters its first-round playoff contest with a 20-8 overall record and went 9-3 in the Central Valley Conference to finish third. No. 23 San Mateo is 14-14 overall and was third in the Coast Conference North Division at 5-3.
CCSF did not face Lemoore this season and was 2-0 against CSM in conference action.
Two wins are needed by the Rams to advance to the 3C2A State Championships on March 12-15 at College of the Sequoias in Visalia.
